Camping sites North GA

Desoto falls still open?

Between Cleaveland and Neal's gap.
Think they have showers
Not sure

Vogel has
A really
Nice campground. Nalmost every site on a creek

Look into Desoto falls. its like ten minuets up the mountain from Helen. It has restrooms but not sure about showers... It has a nice little walking trail that leads up to a water fall and there is a creek tha rus beside some of the camp sites. I camped there in the summer last year. I believe it was like five bucks...? but check into it! You can also go visit Helen while your at it! Some people love Helen... I lived in Cleveland my whole life (Cleveland is the town right next to Helen, its the same county) and I frequent Helen ALOT so its not that fun for me. But look into Desoto falls for sure, it wasn't a bad place when I went!

Vogel would be my pick. Trackrock is nice, but a little pricey if I recall correctly. I'd go cooper's Creek if you could forego the showers.

Vogel is probobly my favorite,

not sure what they charge now, but its very nice,
and they used to have some walk in sites, I guess they still do,

and I think some tent sites so youre away from the giant motorhomes,
and almost every site is on a creek.

Winfield Scott between Vogel and Suches still open?

I do believe Desoto falls is still open. Unless they've closed down since last summer.
It's open. We went up last weekend.

Nice campground with showers and pavement, if that's what you want.

We ended up going 10 or so minutes down the road to Dicks Creek Rd so we could be loud. You'll need an suv (at least) to cross the creek. Fishing isn't bad and it's way more primitive than Desoto Falls.
