Can a seller's "tone of voice" turn you off?

I'm on a roll this morning.

Some old sellers, but appears to be a lot of new sellers, have a rather strident "tone of voice" to their ads.

By this I mean a long list of what they will or will not do, and what I must do or not do to exchange my hard earned money for their item.

Not that I am not addressing the overall silliness of some of their demands as much as the manner in which they are presented.

Do you pass on ads just because of the way the ad is presented (again not the terms so much)?
I sure have. Mostly because ‘must come to me’

If I’m dropping a few hundy into your palm, you’re darn right you’re driving at least halfway.

Yes their tone does...more so especially if they wanta see my D L...or do a bill of sail...to get all that info they going to have to a FFL

I’m not much for having someone down talk me when I’m about to hand them money for an item. It’s happened before and I walked away.
