Can a snake climb a tree?

Evidently yes, if it really wants to!

The black king snake (?) is up about 25' to 30'. There are no branches below where the snake is. It climbed the tree twice. The snake is between 3' and 4" long, Must be some good eatin' up that tree.

Had a big ol black snake up in a tree a few years ago. Slide/slithered right down, it was pretty cool to watch. Never knew they did that before then

sure they do, how do you think they get up there so they can drop into your boat when you glide under them?

I watches a snake do it one time to eat the baby birds . Big birds went after the snake but it did not stop

Probably a pine snake. They can easily climb trees. So can (obviously), a green tree snake. Both are harmless and fit into their niche very nicely.
