Yes they can. That's how I got my container moved from Lilburn to Sparta.

I'd ask to see if they have done it before. Out local guy had no problem.

We moved one 70 miles this fall at the hunting club, no big deal.

If you can't find a local, look on Craigslist, lots of ads for containers, they can put you in touch with an experienced mover.
