can anyone help me with info on GA gator hunting and quota app etc.?

I'm 63yrs old and would like to attempt gator hunting in South Ga. But I can find little info at all in the Ga reg book or on-line. The reg book tells me to go to GoOutdoorsGeorgia.com which I have done but still find no info on rules, regulations, or how or when to apply for the quota. I've been on several quota hunts before (but not gators) and one in particular (B.F. Grant), took me several years and decline notices before I got drawn. I can only assume the gator quota would be the same so I want to get the application started this next year (I might be 70yrs old before drawn LOL). Any help would be greatly appreciated. quota hunts start applications in June I think. Gator hunts are per zone 1 thru 9 I think. Takes 6 years to get picked for Lake Seminole which is zone 2. Go to gohuntga.com and see what shakes out

Alligator quota hunt period begins June 1st and ends July 15th.

I'm assuming you can only see gators listed in the quota hunt section during that time. All I see currently is turkey which runs June 1st through Feb 1st.

The reason you only see turkey is because all other quotas are closed for the rest of the yr. In June you can start applying for other hunts.
