Can anyone tell me what color cerakote this is? UPDATE post #51

I recently got this on a trade and it's turning out to be a real cluster..... doesn't cycle, light primer strikes, was told it had adjustable gas block(and it doesn't) and the "cerakote" on the lower looks more like spray paint (doesn't match perfect either) and it's flaking off with my fingernail. The upper looks like it was done properly.

I was told it was Daniel a defense Tornado Grey by the previous owner but Cerakote only sells that directly to DD and not to the public. Anyone have a good guess what color that upper is so I can get the lower done properly??

Sorry for ranting. A bit frustrated with the whole deal.

Not sure. He said he bought the upper from someone else. The dust cover spring was also installed incorrectly. Just flapping in the wind

No. It's a Go Ballistic LR308 lower. Unsure of upper manufacturer.

ALWAYS thoroughly inspect a weapon before accepting.
If it aint right at the meet up, I take pics and im walking. The pics are to.cover my ass when they try to neg me and then i'll neg them and make it stick

It is not assembled properly . I would not assume it is even Cerakote. There are other colors and guys can mix there own color to get very close to any color you want . Sounds like the seller misrepresented the gun . What function problems does it have ?
