Basically i didn't know if the sale had to be cash or if i could take an electronic form of payment. Just didnt want to get myself into an issues

Also not a lawyer, but if you were ever audited for sales tax this could be a problem unless you collected and paid sales tax.

Absolutely no different than taking a check and running it through the business account.

As mentioned, may be some tax consequences down the road, but they really shouldn't be an issue.

I'm not a big fan of selling on Paypal. You have to link to your checking account, and whay Paypal giveth, Paypal can take away.

Here's my spin on it. Good that you are helping your buddy, but if you have to resort to Paypal, he may as well go to an ATM and withdraw the cash. it will cost him less than Paypal will cost you.
