I'm pretty out of touch with the hunting scene and haven’t been since I was a kid. This may be a dumb question but I was wondering if processors ever have leftover or unclaimed meat that they'll sell? Last time I hunted was years and years ago but I remember the processor my uncle used did occasionally have deer the hunter didn’t pick up that he would give to my uncle for the processing fee. I’m not sure if this is still a thing but I’d love to stock the freezer this year.

I live in the Senois area if anybody could recommend a processor that might have some.

Legaly in GA you're paying for the processing of the unclaimed deer, not the deer meat. The waiting list at some processors is pretty long.

if around Senoia, check that place in Harrelson on hwy 85, sits back a little on the right going South
also Huckaby's processor in Brooks the guys name is Jerome if he's still alive, haven't been in that area since '06
Jerome was the best processor I've ever used from '93 - '06
