I'm no fan of a registry but are they handing our free SBR stamps as long as I register it? Are braces no longer braces and everything is now a stock? Did I miss the part in the articles where I need to apply (and pay) for stamps for my braces? Can I take off the braces and just put stocks on all of my newly registered SBRs?

I'm asking for a friend of course...

You have include a pic of the braced weapon I believe. But once you get your form one you can put a stock on it.
Thank you for the info. Does it then become an NFA item that can't be transferred without a new stamp from the prospective new owner?

Yes. You can either take the brace off or register it and it becomes a SBR
Interesting to figure out the strategy on your firearms... **** that's a lot to consider. So we've got 120 days to consider it (or it gets shut down in the meantime)?

Just saying what we’re all thinking 🤷‍♂️
