Just my preference, but I pass over locked ads. As long as the seller understands that he is limiting his market, then it's certainly his choice.

I don't see all the bothersome posts, and being as the OP can delete them, don't see them as any big deal.

I have to say I see a lot of "issues" with guns in locked ads.

I do use PM’s for offers and other private conversations but sometimes questions about an item need to be addressed, if not enough information was given in the description. A quick answer that everyone can see might even lead to less people responding with the same PM.
