A good friend of mine inherited this unique looking revolver when his Father passed away recently. I'm pretty sure it is a 32 caliber (the hp loads that were in it looked to be stamped "32 S&W from what I could tell), but there is no name on it anywhere. Each part has to be original because all are serialed in the exact same number, and several parts are stamped with what looks like a cross (similar to the Red Cross symbol). There are a couple other hallmarks in various locations that are unknown to us. It has an octagon barrel and a plunger system to extract the shell/casing. Any info as far as manufacturer/dates/fair market value would be appreciated! I've included several detailed pics.......

That is a cool old pistol
Thanks, my buddy said that it's a great shooter too! He's got some old reloads (he's assuming) that are in 32-20 brass. I told him to hold onto them unless he gets into reloading because they're tough to get (learned that from the YouTube video posted by johnwp)!

Proper caliber is 7.5mm. A few companies used to make it commercially. Fiocchi still might. It's a very nice revolver. Some people will fire .32 S&W in theirs but keep in mind that these were black powder revolvers, so a high charged .32 S&W might kill it.
