Canon AE-1, Any Value?

Cleaning up Mom's house, she has an old AE-1 with Canon Strap, Flash, and extra lens.

Worth anything or toss?

Same for a 16mm movie camera and projector.

Not much value, but older 35mm cameras are starting to get poplar again with the Hipsters. I would contact keh.com in Smyrna and see what they would give you for the setup.

There is some value. condition will be very important. lenses, how clean, scratches, fungus...

I have one and a collection of lenses. Still use it some but it's getting harder to do.

I go to a lot of yard sales and auctions, and always looking for 35mm.

Sad truth is it doesn't bring very much. I'm in a college town, so a lot of old hipsters have some good equipment, and it just bring very much. I'm talking $150 for a Nikon or Canon.

I wouldn't toss it but I'd take the first green someone flashed at me.

Large format cameras are making a real comeback. Reason: when everyone went to 35mm, they tossed the old large format cameras. At some point that will happen to 35mm, but that point isn't right now.

16mm probably toss. Even the people with the old vacation at Disneyworld films have it all digitized, they just don't need the equipment.

These will be FD mount, DSLR bodies are EF and EF-S. Maybe can find an adapter, but probably not worth it except for fun or novelty.
