Thanks man, got it off. Now a new problem. The barrel nut is really on there. And my ar wrench bent/stripped out trying to get it off.The staking is there to keep the screws from backing out. No damage is done to the block.
Back the screws out with a good allen wrench and slide off. When reinstalling stake it again in a different spot, good to go.

What do you mean by clamped down? I had it in a vise if thats what you mean.Just asking, but is the upper clamped down? I use a Pri wrench, and have never had any trouble.
