Can't make a decision!!! Glock 43 or S&W 9 M&P Shield

I will say I agree with this point. No matter what weapon you use, there is no substitute for training. Period. So no matter safety or not if you can't hit the target you aim at then all you have is a tool in your hand you can't use. I believe in practice with your weapon however you have it configured. So you can use it with instant memory, you shouldn't haft to think weather or not you need to take your safety off. Because in a real threat you will loose...

Preach.

Romans 12 12 no I have not yet. So my plan is to shoot the heck out of my buddy's shield. I think I am going to either go buy the G43 and run it through the test. Or I might go see if my buddy at the gun shop wants to go test fire the one in the shop. If I don't like the G43 then it will be sold on here I'm sure. This is the thing, my good friend loves his shield. I will also take this into consideration and I quote ( The G43 is a worthy and valiant effort but it did not dethrone the single stack subcompact king.) So I will just see what works for me

Forget both 9mm is too powerful and this is all u need and is better than the shield or g43! I mean it fits my hand and my a@# can't beat that right?!

What makes it "superior"?

First, I am a Glock fan so I admit some bias. Just being honest up front. The OP asked for my opinion and this is just my opinion. I like Glock pistols more than S&W. Secondly, I have shot both of these guns and I like the prefer how the Glock feels in my hands. I prefer the trigger pull of the Glock too. Out of the box, it doesn't seem as heavy. Admittedly, it might because I have many and shoot them more often. That said, I am more consistent/ accurate with the Glock. I just shoot the Glock pistols better.

Even though it's a little bigger and a little heavier, I would prefer the G26 over either one of the choices. It is a double stack instead of a single stack, which gives you the option to carry more bullets. I always prefer options. Also, because it is a double stack 9mm, one can use any 9mm Glock mag in the G26, which I like. When I carry G26, I have a G17 spare mag in the truck. The G43 is a single stack and uses uses G43 mags only.

Lastly, I like having GLOCK in Smyrna. If there is an update or a problem, an hour of my time fixes it for free.

Hope this helps!
