CANT SLEEP !!!

I was having trouble sleeping but I've been walking about a mile every afternoon and now I'm sleeping soundly for 6 hrs which is all I ever need. If I do wake up I fall right back to sleep. Used to be awake an hour or so when I would wake up. Also lost 5lbs in two weeks.

slept 2 nights all the way through since I came home from hospital stay.1/30/25 I came home. Melatonin doesnt help at all. Dr prescribed a Narcotic but aint gonna fill it
Hell, I will take it….lol. Pass it off to me !! :becky:
Just kidding…somewhat.
I’ve had some of the sleep meds, some of them work, most of them don’t. Seems like the ones that work leave ya hung over sometimes.

I’ve been through all the “melatonin” and other sleep aids they say is supposed to work. Sometimes they will work, most of the time they won’t.
It’s just a vicious cycle that ya go through ….. and it sux !!
Most all who go through it know . I just figured it was something else to bitch about !! :becky:

That would be ok if I could walk . lol.
But yeah, I get the gist of what you are saying. Gotta find something to tire ya out somewhat.

I take the Magnesium Glycinate with B2 for my migraines. If I have trouble sleeping, I take Benadryl. Knocks me right out. Melatonin gives me nightmares, and I wake up dizzy and nauseated.

Not sure if this is an option for you, but when my shoulders (both have torn rotator cuff) and/or my arthritis is off the charts, I will take a Cyclobenzaprine (Flexeril) about an hour before I got to bed, and it makes me almost zombie like, so I sleep hard all night! I'm actually still a little groggy for a couple hours after I get up. Amazing how such a tiny pill has such an effect on me. Best thing I've found so far for my sleep issues, might be a help for you!

Slept like a baby.....
