I killed a copperhead while cleaning up my workshop a few days ago. The lesson here is to not clean. I'm also probably not going to store pallets of cob corn at home anymore.
Snake!! It's what's for dinner.......
I ate a rattlesnake once. It was about like I imagine possum would be.
I put the snake atop some sacks of cob corn to deter squirrels. Something ate it.

I killed one yesterday too. Everybody pay attention to what your doing.
Guy across the road where we hunt at killed a 4' Eastern this week. Any one of these will ruin your deer season and pocketbook also. I refuse to go into the woods without knee high snake boots where we hunt. Brother got popped by what we are guessing was baby copperhead several years ago; but got lucky as no invermination happened. He had 2 marks and a line between from a fang tip. Said it felt like someone had a match head on him.
