1 to 2 gear shift maybe 2600 rpm and yes manual iv been a car nut all my life and never tossed a rod on the road. many on the strip. I think I just learned a lesson tho. should have never had it towed. I should have had someone put a motor in it. I just work so much ( truck driver) I knew I didn't have the time and thought cm would just take care of it.

Man that sucks I bet that was a real fun car to drive. Someone definitely ran it low on oil before you got it. To be fair I don't think that's something that they really could have known about before they sold it to you unless it was knocking or making noise.

I can't get a ring and pinion for a F150, it's backordered, then when the parts come in, I have to wait in line while the shop plays catch up. Looking at 2 months to get back on the road.

Have you tried Summit Racing? They have a warehouse In McDonough. I bought a 3:55 Cobra pumpkin to put in my 01 f150 years back from there

Yes. i can't believe it but these gears for the most common pickup truck in the history of the world are unobtanium.
