Yeah built a couple of that style. Sold them already. Actually starting another one of them this week once I finish a couple other knives. Been building knives for years as a side job and for fun. These are a lot of fun to make they have such an aggressive feel to them. That one was out of 1/8 01 tool steel. Super light weight and fast.

Nice. If you happen to make one with a second edge and a bit more hook to it I know who'll buy it lol

Here’s another one I did. Has a back swedge on the blade. I’ll keep that in mind. Have a few knives I’m trying to finish up before starting anything new right now. Been focusing on hidden tang knives lately. A lot of work goes into them but man they’re so cool to see finished.

Wicked blade! Nicely done.

What’s going on with the footwear and the gloves? Haha

knives are great, but you will get in more trouble defending yourself with a knife.
you empty a gun in someone, you are scared and just kept pulling the trigger. you hack someone up with a knife, thats physical work. you gotta keep cutting and stabbing, not just moving a finger..
keep a knife always, carry a cia letter opener if you must go thru a metal detector. just try not to make it your first line of defense..
but always "gat, gat and not poke, poke....

Thank you.
Hahaha busted. House shoes, usually wear leather boots everyday. Ugly as hell but like wearing pillows on my feet. Wear the gloves when I work on the polishing wheel.

Is the CIA letter opener even legal at places that say "no weapons"? Seems awful risky if you ever get searched or patted down even if the detector doesn't beep.

I’d guess it Depends on if you’re breaking the law or just the rules. Courthouse, heck no it ain’t legal. Concert or sporting event, against the rules.. could get you asked to leave or maybe just a confiscated letter opener... Maybe escorted out by a cop but not locked up I wouldn’t think.

The first thing they teach you in Kobujitsu ( weapons training ) is a weapon is just an extension of your body. If you can't fight to begin with then the odds of being successful at self defense is iffy at best. If you are going to carry a knife then take a knife randori course and stay with it for a while. Learning to use your hands without the knife is more useful than having the knife to begin with. Take billieco's advice and get some training before you run into someone that knows how to knife fight and you end up stew meat.
