Carrying a Loaded Gun in Car

Or motorcycle I had a snellville cop razz me about my gun in a back pack because I don't have a permit. He said the back pack does not count as a trunk I did not want to open carry due to type of holster. It could have fallen out. He told me to pick up a lock since I was heading to home depot

Easily beaten in Court, but who needs the headache?

My buddy was stopped in AL nearly what you got but no probation. He had to hire a lawyer to get his GWL. All for a "equipment" stop burned out tail light.
They asked to look in his car and like a dumb ass he said sure. They found his 1911A in the glove box... Citation for the tail light and the lawyer had to get his firearm back.... Lesson - GET YOUR GWL
same here, high beam headlights in city limits. Never knew it was illegal.

Wow, I didn't know that was a sentencing option. Pretty cool though if they were just ill-informed folks that needed a little schooling instead of having the book thrown at them.

So far, w/o disclosing any other specifics, one Aggravated assault, two discharging a firearm within city limits, & one unlawful carry.

It is unusual to have a judge force someone to come take a class but I don't complain.

Thankfully we are COVERED up right now w/ couple's classes & corporate classes.

Soooooo...who can answer the OP's central question? Can a non permit holder (GFL) have a handgun loaded and chambered in the glove box of his own/wife's car in GA?
I've certainly never heard of this, but I'd never heard of "no high beams in the city limits" till 30 seconds ago either.
