30$ for that folding stock adapter ,hummm that is about what the original manufacture should charge 
Trijicon will look up the serial for you to validate authenticity. I'd recommend that if you're buying used.
There all types of clones. Troy flip sights are being counterfeited. Raptor look alike Ambi charging handles which look ok and function but the actual latch is steel. That will wear out the latch catch ten times as fast. I know this because I put a magnet on it and sure enough steel. All kinds of trash floating out there.
If you want an acog alternative the burris 3x32 is hard to beat for $200-250. The $150 Nikon 3x32 P223 is nice as well for A cheap non-illuminated 3x fixed optic. If you want the acog look with useful reticles but without magnification the Lucid HD7 is pretty sweet, especially when you can snag it for $150.
