Grandson selling his grandfather's Singer 1911...

I dunno...none of my cousins wanted the Ruger Blackhawk that my uncle carried flying photo-recon missions over Vietnam...but I will always cherish it and pass to one of my sons when I pass.

I can't imagine letting go of anything a family member had actually regularly carried in harm's way. The only way I could understand this is if the grandson needed big $ for a living family member. Like medical care or something.
