Cemetery find

Here's a set of markers that were installed In the woods about a mile behind my cabin (the family cemetery is on old maps),but apparently due to the lack of grave markers it was lost to history and someone years ago planted pine trees over the graves.With the advent of GPS the family members had someone find and mark where the family plot was and had the markers installed about 20 years ago (the pines still stand and should be ready to harvest in a few more years......sad)
Apparently a small school sat on this site also

Its off Weeks creek road,I enjoy walking around in old cemetery and looking at dates

Same here, I always walked Arlington cemetery with my commanding Officer, some of our veterans have fought numerous Campaigns and Wars.
