Chattahoochee River diving, anyone loose their m1a?

If anyone dives in the Etowah, a close friend rolled his kayak on Monday and lost his phone and an Armscor M206.
He tried snorkeling/magnet fishing on Tuesday but the water was too cold.
I'm not sure where exactly he was on the river

Isn't that exactly why you buy an Armscor or similar trunk gun? It falls out, gets stolen, breaks, gets lost in the forest and you shrug it off and buy another one at that insanely cheap price?

We said the same thing. Still bummed out he lost it, but happy it wasn't his 1911.
