Cheap handgun for the truck

I just looked these site up and they had used Glocks for 300 bucks. I am definitely going to scan this site for deals. I do appreciate that bra! Just what I needed to see. They are not in stock right now but they've got a pre-owned Sig Sauer p226 for $329.00. Now that's a gun I can get behind. Now if they just get another one in stock

My friend your guess is as good as mine is how that got there. 🤣🤣 Sometimes I do that speech to text thingy bob and some of the words on the TV override what I'm saying. My guess is it picked one of the words up on the television. I meant to say scoring another one Friday. I bought a 1911 Springfield Garrison from CTS Tactical. It's blued steel with presentation grips and I do not want scratch that one all to Hades.

You would be amazed at how often what I say is affected by what's on television. Half the time through a show I'm too lazy to turn it down and half my conversation turns into the TV program on the screen. But hell what are you going to do? It doesn't bother me but I'm sure it confuses a lot of people on here. 🤣
Makes me wonder what you are watching.

Personally, I'll never put a light on a handgun. Lots of good choices listed but to check out a noise in the dark, I don't want to point my gun at it to find out what it is.
Certainly your choice, and one of the reasons I also carry a pocket flashlight.

But my daughter and I were walking around our neighborhood one night when I heard "GRRRRRR!!!" and quick paws heading our way. I was able to draw and "light him up" with the weapon light, still keeping both hands on the pistol.

Thankfully the dog broke off his attack run when I yelled at him. By the time the owner came to the door I had already re-holstered and gave him a friendly wave. I'm glad I didn't have to perforate his pooch.

I'm honest with myself; I would have trouble hitting a dog or even a guy running at me at full speed, even with both hands on the pistol. I don't want to try it with flashlight in one hand and pistol in the other.

Several other decent/cheaper options there, too. They have a thread going

There are a good amount of decent handguns in our classifieds right now for great prices. Imagine that! If I hadn't have purchased the new 1911 I would pick one out now. No matter there will be some when I am ready in a few weeks.
