What's your spin, if any and not a purist?

I used cook this all the time 30 years ago when I was a poor food broker. Just never knew it had a proper name. It consisted of what I could buy cheaply or liberate from the sample room.

GF's daughter and friend are cooking it for us tonight for supper.

What is it and what’s the recipe?
Basically it's a dish made up of chicken, sausage (usually Kielbasa) rice, salt and pepper (maybe onion). Some folks add stuff like peppers, etc., but purists say no. It's baked. The rice is very moist, not fluffy, "boggy" so to speak. Some debate if that's the origin of the name or because its origins are said to be in Horry Co. SC. Put a little hot sauce on it and serve!
