Chicken bog. Anyone cook this?

Never new it had a real name...my mother use to make this cause it was quick, easy and fed a lot of people. (Think six kids, mom and dad). Some times it had carrots and always had onion. She mad it outta left over baked chicken.
My spin on it is using a left over Green Egg spatchcock chicken in the oven with wild rice cream of mushroom soup and plenty of mushrooms and onion.
 
What's your spin, if any and not a purist?

I used cook this all the time 30 years ago when I was a poor food broker. Just never knew it had a proper name. It consisted of what I could buy cheaply or liberate from the sample room.

GF's daughter and friend are cooking it for us tonight for supper.
