At the big fun show over the weekend I snagged a rifle that, while not particularly rare, isn't really common either. Its a Chinese M1907. This was a copy of the German 1904 Export Modell. This one was manufactured at the Gong Xian arsenal in October of 1934. No doubt it was aimed at more than a few Japanese soldiers in its day. Its wearing what appears to be a wartime version of a PPSH sling, but not 100% sure of that. Gong Xian tended to put out higher quality Mauser variants, and this example indeed is a lot nicer than your average Type 24 Chiang Kai Shek rifles. Enjoy the pics!
