Better check on the ammo the AR12 uses. Some of it is semi custom and pricey.

It's a 12ga and nothing special about that ammo I am aware of. Might be like other manufacturer auto shotguns and you need to break it in. Lots of positive reviews here https://www.classicfirearms.com/ar12-semi-auto-ar-15-platform-12ga-shotgun . For less than $400 you get the gun and 2 mags. Hard to beat it.

You are right about using normal ammo. The one I was thinking about was a RAS and had custom ammo. "As is" makes me a little concerned since it is a new gun. If you get one, let us know how it functions and what type of pattern it throws.

Same with the Mini 30 ? Or is there that little diff between them?

I never got as picky about the Mini-30 because cheap Russian steel-case isn't as accurate as your average 5.56/.223 round. The Mini-30 is OK, but I'd much rather have an AK, or even an SKS.

Went with the Core 15 AR. Nice rifle with extras at a good price from local pawn shop. I am going to pick up an AR-12 as it is bad a##.

Good choice.

I looked at KSG but hell it's $900 new and it's a pump. This looks like a better alternative with a couple 10rd mags and $500 cheaper
