12ga 2.75 ammo - mild as possible. I have/back issues so blowing through a bunch of ammo isn't an option. My shooting range will be 35 yards or less. I will be using a simple red bead for sighting. I will be using my 12ga 870 SPS-T w/21" barrel. Seen below. What has worked for ODT. GO!

I shoot a Jebs in my browning maxus with 3.5 heavy shot 6”s I think it’s a 660 constricted.but I killed a pile with a full choke, before every thing got so technical.my gun also shoots the long beard XR good will proberly switch over when I run out of heavy shot.the heavy shot is 6 bucks a piece

I use a 3.5 Heavi 13 in 5 shot. Mossberg 835. Went to a Jellyhead choke last year after the factory choke in the 835 developed a problem.(big hole in middle of pattern.) This choke is so good that I too will go back to Long Beard after I use up the $6 a pop Heavies.

I have a Kicks choke in my.835 and shoot the 3.5 XR longbeard #5. It’s done me very well the past few years on some turkeys that my furthest shot was out to 45 yards.

I really appreciate the choke advice. Will research some of these. Anyone using 2.75 loads? Not worried about shooting past 40 yards at most. I am worried about tweaking my neck testing ammo for patterns with 3in mag loads. I have C5-C6 fusion that is fussy and turkey loads in my 870 are BRUTAL!!!!!
