Has anyone ever had a fixed choke shotgun barrel machined to accept removable chokes? If so, were you satisfied with the finished product? Last question; any recommendations on a gunsmith/machinist here in Dixie?

I see it all the time at River Bend gun club. I'm sorry that I can't tell you the name of who's been doing them. You can try michael.orlen@verizon.net and r&d which I think is in CA. There's another one that begins with a B, but I can't think of it right now.

I'm sure somebody will be along to help you ...

I've had two fixed work fine took two week turn around sent barrel only get 3 choke tubes and wrench cost about 85 dollars total. I think carlsons was ones that did work. ATWOOD, KANSAS 785-626-3700
