Also consider the aluminum framed P-01. http://www.cz-usa.com/products/view/cz-p01/ However, it only comes with a decocker. There are some available in safety, but they are very rare in standard trim. You can get a CZ Custom shop version in safety, but that's even more $$$

I loved my PO-1 but I could not get over spending that kind of money for a gun with such a horrific DA pull with that DeCocker, I ended up trading it. If they had these with the manual safety I would get one ASAP! They are ramping these up with Omegas but I don't think they will be released for a while. When they do I will get another one. Other than the DA pull it is a phenominal gun! Accurate as all get out!

I'm not a double action guy myself, but have seen some cocked and locked SP-01's before, even spied a P02 once, with the omega trigger and sweet roll mark on the slide. Really wanting to try it out, but gotta clear some room in the safe

I'm always down to head to Stoddard's and punch some holes in paper, and I have looked at the rami to be honest. Seems like an awesome summer time CCW that I'd probably have interest in down the road. For now I've narrowed it down to the SP-01 (not sure on variant just yet) for HD, and either a P-01, P-02, or P-07 for carry duties. Clearing some pistols I don't shoot enough in order to make room (putting a 1911 on the chopping block for a SP-01, check it out!) so I can begin a CZ family. Need to consolidate ammo either way, too many calibers to buy right now, and 9mm is my favorite round for all around use, and is cheaper and easier for me to get hands on.

If you get an SP-01, you can convert it to single action only if you want at a later point. I don't believe you can do that with the decocker SP-01 tactical, but not 100% sure.

On the other hand, you get just a nice single action with the short reset trigger as you would with the single action only conversion.

This is why I want a SP-01 kinda hard to find one though that someone Is willing to let go of. Been hunting and made an offer on one, but no response, and put an a up trading my 1911 for one, just gotta stay patient I guess
