I went and impulse bought this “Compact SBS Ready” KSG (for a very good deal) after buying a salvo 12. I’ve been trying to find more information on chopping the barrel since most places I call say I need to send the barrel in only, and disassembly of the KSG doesn’t seem to be a topic on google. I looked into the blow up pic of it but it looks like some typical Florida man science magic to my brain. Does anyone have anyone they can recommend who can chop the barrel down once I get my SBS paperwork back and possibly thread it to take Benelli Mobil chokes (so I don’t have to buy another adapter, not a deal breaker though just would be nice).

Yes I know there is a ton of guys out there that can do it, but I’m looking for someone who can take care of doing it if I just send them the whole gun since I’m not super confident I’ll be able to properly reassemble it.

Thanks!

woah thats kinda neat! did not know they made an SBS ready model. We do gunsmithing in house but I am not certain if this is something we can do without talking to our smith. This sounds like a rad project.

Lol I didn’t either until I came across it recently.

I appreciate that, you guys are local to me also so that would be even better if you could.

Yeah, you will want to talk to our gunsmith, he is not always in though, normally Tuesday's afternoon is a good time to reach him. But you can leave it with us for him to look at too. If we can help, we would love to, just swing by and knock on the door when we are open.
