Find myself in the market for a chronograph. Load data for the current caliber in work is slim, looks like I get to play with a new toy. 1) Ability to use at the indoor range 2) not break the bank, other than that not sure where to start my research. Any input would be appreciated? Thanks ODT.

Labradar buy once cry once.
Labradar or Oehler 35P. I wish Labradar was out before I bought my 35P but I am happy with it.

Take a look at the Magnetospeed v3. More affordable than the Labradar and works well for me. I have used it at an indoor range with no problems since it is directly attached to the rifle. All my values have been good in ballistics calculators as well.

I’m still using and old fashioned shooting alpha chrony. It was inexpensive, but you can’t use it indoors. The magneto speed you’ll be strapping it on and of different rifles which doesn’t appeal to me, but you can use it indoors. The labradar is most expensive, but seems to be the best for ease of use and indoor use. My next one will probably be the labradar.
It depends. If your pistol has a rail there is an adaptor for that. I have not used it for anything but rifles.
