Chronograph

Yoiure going to have all sorts of problems with typical light sensor chronos inside.

1) fluorescent is not very friendly to the sensors
2) you can’t easily get the 10’ or so away you’ll need to avoid smoke/powder from causing interference

I use a CED with an optional indoor light kit. It has worked extremely well. Most of the time, I do not bother using the sky screens when outside; on a crystal clear day, the screens are needed, but not on most days. I have used this chrono for at least 12 years without issue.

The only issue is finding a good time to go down range to setup and plug the extension cord into an outlet for the light——this is the trouble mentioned by DirtyJ.
