Classic Mustang to make roadworthy

Actually the car is reasonably solid. It needs some patches, but from where I've looked, it's solid where it counts.
After I drain the tank and put it in the driveway, I'll do a thorough check.

POR-15 is your friend. I've had a 67 and a 68, the 67 had a 200 inline bone stock. The 68 had a 351W, tremec 3550 and a 31 spline 8.8. If you want to know how to waste money just pm me and I can tell you exactly what to do or what not to do! Ron Morris performance makes some solid retro fit parts if you decide to update things. I also may have access to a free 302 that needs to be rebuilt if interested. Wrist pin has a knock, unknown as to whether it's a roller or flat tappet motor...

I agree it would be bad
Almost every mustang is going need the upper cowl area removed due to rust. Even the pretty ones.
All of the pieces are going to have some degree of rust on them. Either it's good enough or I'll brace it up for now.
