Classic Mustang to make roadworthy

I agree it would be bad
Almost every mustang is going need the upper cowl area removed due to rust. Even the pretty ones.
All of the pieces are going to have some degree of rust on them. Either it's good enough or I'll brace it up for now.
Some rust is no biggie unless you're doing a full restoration

My 73 Bronco has some rust
Well a lot of rust. But it's cosmetic , floors , rocker panels etc ,
not structural

The stang is in the driveway now.
The tank is drained.

Got a wire wheel for my drill and sandpaper.
Got the evaporust.
I soaked a couple things and it worked great.
I have to get a grinder or some air tools.
I wanted to see how bad the spots in the body are, start on the surface rust on the top, and get the engine bay ready for the engine.
 
I think it could be worse.
I think I'm going to hit the non-engine Bay areas one time around and spray them with rustoleum primer. They won't be finished, but, I believe it will help until I get back to them.
I have to focus on checking the wires and cleaning the engine bay.
