RamRoddoc, what vintage is your 17?

It's a Model 17-3 so puts it in the 1970's I think. Not bad looking for a 40+ year old revolver.

I really love those old Smith's. The model 17 and 22 revolvers were .22 LR works of art. A lot of craftsmanship went into those old guns.


The original H&R firm was in business for over a century from 1871 to 1986. This is an H&R 999 .22 LR. It's a 9 shot break-top. My Dad had one that I shot in my youth and I found one on here in very nice condition. They are a lot of fun!

My Uncle has one of these exactly like this! Never been shot. Cool little gun.

Those are very nice wheel guns sir! The Dan Wesson with the strips looks like it's your carry gun?

No ,but I do carry my S&W Model 442 in a OWB S&W holster from time to time. At times I carry a semi-auto, either a LCP or Glock 27.
