Classic wheel gun porn....

One of my favorites, a 3" Model 36 , no dash , flat latch , with matching # grips,1963 vintage

Recently picked this up from a fine member. Serial Number dates it to 1973/74. It's easily a 95% condition revolver and came with a box and a completely unexpected SAT add to the deal! I've had a few 28-2s over the years, but never one in this condition. And to top it all off it is one that got a little extra polishing before it was sent to the be blued, so it is on the higher end of deep shiny blue for a 28.

Although the 28 was the working man's budget revolver in the S&W line in it's day, everyday duty and the passing years have made the higher condition models harder to find. The Ole no frills, budget construction 28s have definitely moved up in the order of desired collectables. Aside from the fact that every gun lover should have at least one S&W from the pinned & recessed days......Every Cop NEEDS at least one Highway Patrolman! I am very glad to give this old war horse a new home.

Beautiful HP! She went from one good home to another!
Man I Love That Holster!
Your HP would look good in a floral rig....or a nice basket weave. I may have an extra basket weave I can let go of that would fit your HP....:eyebrows:

I love me some basket weave.....big surprise, yeah right!
But that Floral Cut Buscadero looking holster of yours makes my eyes hurt from the Bugging! My Toddler Cowboy Days, when I never left the house without TWO chrome six guns hanging off my hips haunt me.

Haha...if you need to scratch that floral carved itch, I can put you in contact with my holster guy...he can make whatever you like and it's a quick turn around time. Not like the typical 6 month wait from a custom holster maker. He prides himself on a week or two turn around time.
