So I turned 44 last month and on my bday thought it was appropriate to shoot 44 mag. I took the above two 3" guns (629-6 and 29-3) and put six rounds of 240 gr ammo through each. Needless to say that was enough shooting for me as I forgot how bad a snub 44 sucks to shoot. Sure they're cool to look at, but the recoil is massive and found myself adjusting my grip after every shot.
I'll continue to collect these as they have a special place in my safe, but from now on if I'm shooting this round again it's gonna be in a long tube.

JHW JHW , provided you don't have any import markings on that 586-5, 158 stayed stateside. Both of mine came with combats. Very cool piece, the only blued 2.5" 38 special made. Congrats!

I didn’t see any but I’ll have to double check. Yes these uncle mikes will be coming off. I wish Leatherhead Leatherhead would let go of that set.

Found another M-19P. While I can't call the M-19P rare, it is a seldom seem model. This one is in great condition, has the yellow stripe front site, fixed site, and the correct import markings. As some of you guys know, I really like the fixed site S&W revolers.
