Cleaning Milsurp bores...

I like hoppes and rem oil on my American rifles.

I have used eezox which is great for anything.

I have used hot water mixed with simple Green for sewer pipe bores.

I have also used mineral spirits in bores if Cosmo is present.

I spray a bit of windex down the barrel after shooting and let it drip out. It evaporates from the heat of the barrel. Then I get home and use two swabs of Shooter choices mc#7 then two of hoppes 9. Use a brush about 10 strokes then usually one shooters choice, one hoppes, and dry then patch either barristol or kroil.

Even dirty milsurps clean right up . Just read directions on the SC7.
