Looking to do my first efile form 1 in the next few days. Prints ordered, ready to fill out application. Still unclear on who exactly my CLEO is/where to mail my stuff? I live in Alpharetta so would it be the Chief of Police in Alpharetta or would my CLEO be the county Sheriff? Just want to make sure I don’t make a stupid mistake on my application so it goes smoothly. Thanks

You can always use the sheriff if you're not sure whether you're in the city limits or not. At least you can be sure what county you're in!
Cleo copy only , they dont get prints or pictures and honestly they trash it so make sure you ask for a receipt…I hand delivered mine to Alpharetta police and I watched them just throw it away as I left
Any CLEO for your jurisdiction. If you lived in Marietta for example you could send it to the chief of police, the county sheriff, or the State Attorney General.

OP, hope you are filing for a SBR or SBS and not a Form 1 Can. If a can, they are going to deny your application. ATF is saying no more Form 1 cans from the "peasants" of the Reich.

Why bother figuring out who it is for your local area? I just use the State Attorney General who has jurisdiction in the entire state.
