A true Mutt, but I probably had some in my Armsrooms when I was in the Army.

Wish I'd gave been more aware back then. Wonder how many US&S and others were around. Of course I couldn't do anything aboput it. Glad i wasn't tempted.

Wish I'd have kept a record of the SNs I'd been issued.

Sad day when the Beretta was chosen to replace the 1911. Should have been the HK USP 45 or if they wanted a 9mm the Sig 226.

Did you select Service or Field? My field grade was as good as a Service grade.

After the first 19,000 are given a chance, then another lottery I bet.

I just wonder how many fell out because they messed up their paperwork? 10%? 20%? more?

Wouldn't surprise me, I imagine a lot of people couldn't get their preferred FFL sent with the paperwork. Or sent a picture of their drivers license instead of the passport
