CMP Talladega

Finally made time to head over to CMP talladega yesterday to break in my Bergara and try out my mk12 I built and do some testing with my 14.7 with the acog. Great facility. I had a blast. I'm pretty new to long range shooting but I'm planning on getting better. If you are on the fence about going, just go, you'll be glad you did.

Once you do it, the KTS (Kongsberg Target System) spoils you for any paper range. Love it out there. Make time after your range day to hit Rick's Crossroads Grille. Have your steak or prime rib "thrown in the dirt" (house spice blend) You won't regret it.

Only thing I don't like about the electronic targets is they don't have a center aim point. Makes shooting for groups a bit more difficult. Otherwise they are great.

I use the stadia lines in my reticle on the North, South, East, and West portions of the target and hope it's centered.

Can't wait to try my hand at the unknown distance range.

I have been once with Mr. and Mrs alleycat , they both out shot me so I have not been back!

it is a beautiful facility , world class
