I could be wrong, but it seems like the only thing this part is aimed at curing is upper receiver wear, not cam pin wear.

I’ve never heard of someone’s upper receiver wearing from normal function to the point it becomes a problem.

I’ve seen the fastener that holds the rotating head fail on those too often. When that happens, the roller head falls off.

Just go FCD.
