Colonoscopy Prep

Who said medicine was a theme park. I am due one considering my age but I am putting it off as long as possible. The very thought of it is degrading.
I think we can lump all medical procedures in the degrading department. The older we get the more we have to endure

Something not mentioned, have the procedure done by a medical group that does a lot of these. My doctor with Atlanta Gastro does about 15-20 daily, 5 days a week. You don't want a doctor that does a couple a week. My sister had an "amateur" prober and ended up with a colon perfotation and wearing a bag for about 8 months.

Does anyone know the cut-off age, the point where they don't do them anymore?

Or, Medicare stops paying for them due to age of patient?

In for this as well. Probably the real issue here is that they stop doing procedures due to the fact they don't want to keep you alive past a certain age. I've already seen past a certain age you have to be your own advocate
