Color fill removal suggestions

Been there and done it a thousand times. The key to Rapid removal with no harm done to the anodizing is Valvoline non-chlorinated brake parts cleaner. Key phrase being non-chlorinated. Just soak a cotton ball in the brake cleaner and apply liberally let's set for a few seconds and start wiping it off. After you've gone through a handful a couple cotton balls you'll ever removed every bit of the color. Sometimes if you move it around in the light at a certain angle you'll pick up a small hint of residue color but just take another cotton ball and wipe it down again. The key is is once the cotton ball has absorbed its first run of paint get rid of it and soak another cotton ball or you can use a rag or anything like that. Even paper towels will work. Out of all the things I've used the non-chlorinated Valvoline brake and Parts cleaner is the best by far. Works like a charm and does no damage whatsoever to the coating on the parts.

The acetone did the trick. But now I see why it was color filled. It has some very minor scratches. But it is a chainsaw lower. So to be expected.
