Try Bullseye Bluing down in Columbus. They have a Facebook page. They recovered a WWII Remington Rand I had. I think it cost around $200.

If it wasn't a USGI WWII 1911 I'd have left it Nickeled but the old Warhorse deserved to be returned to near original condition. No conflict for me.

Gunsmith named Bill did mine. I chose to have a Colt Guard finish put on it. Looks like Stainless steel.
