Colt Detective special

I have inherited a Detective special mfg. 1970 that is in very good condition. No wear and the action and lockup is great. My question is did this gun come with Pacmeyer grips as pictured? I seem to remember it having wood grips, but I was young back then. Could anyone give me a approximate value based on the photo and the description.

Thanks, that's what I thought. Dad all ways kept it wrapped up in a cloth and I believe he only shot it a few times.

Bluebook has it at $1,450 in 100% condition however yours does not seem to have the original grips, If you have the grips and the aftermarket grips have not left any visible markings on the finish then you should be able to get 1200ish but if there are no grips or marks on the finish $500 maybe less.

The above is just my opinion im not an expert or Colt collector.
