Colt M1917 Revolver - So How'd I do?

Just picked this up a couple of weeks ago from a family friend for the grand total of $400?

The pistol is in beautiful shape with what appears to be the original bluing on it. The rifling looks great and the screws aren't boogered up. The serial number indicates it was made in 1919.

How'd I do?

From this single picture it looks like you did great at $400! More/closer pictures would help give me a better idea.
Do the stocks have the matching serial number written in pencil on the interior of the panels?

It can, but it's just easier to do ACP with the moon clips.

I had a hard time finding 45 rimmed for my Webley but I did finally

My understanding is 45 acp has a higher pressure and could damage the pistol

Check it out and be sure you will not have the same issue

you can buy .45 rimmed brass and load mouse farts if you are worried about pressure.
