Colt Trooper Mark II

i am looking for some help with value on a gun. It is a Colt Trooper Mark II 357 with a chrome/polished finish. The gun has not been taken care of and the finish is cloudy and stained in spots. There is no pitting, it has wood grips and the barrel is 6" long. I guess it is possible that the finish can be cleaned up some, not really sure. The pawn shop that has it is is asking 550 OTD.

That is probably a fair price but condition is everything on Colt revolvers. The finish is probably nickel and I have had good results hand polishing cloudy nickel with Semichrome.

Thanks. I was wondering if anyone had any luck with polishing. It's not terrible but it has been neglected.

You may also want to consider using Flitz metal polish-it works well on most finishes.

Not taking anything away from Flitz, but I find that Simichrome works better in chrome and nickle

In the shape it sounds like its in.yes around $500 to $600 would be tops,unless you find that one idiot that has to have it,then you may get more.ive seen troopers sale for $350 to $800 just depends on condtion and boxes or not.
